Safety Town provides essential safety instruction for pre-kindergarten children, including lessons on pedestrian safety, traffic signals, fire safety, appropriate touch, avoiding strangers, and the dangers of drugs.

Classes are taught by trained officers from local law enforcement agencies using interactive methods like films, lectures, coloring books, and hands-on traffic safety exercises. Sessions emphasize vehicle and bus safety.

Parents can register their children online through the Bellefontaine Parks Department at www.BellefontaineParks.com. Assistance is available at (937) 592-3475.

This free program is open to Logan County children entering kindergarten in the upcoming school year. If you have any questions or need more information please feel free to contact the Parks Department at parks@ci.bellefontaine.oh.us or (937) 592-3475.
